November Coffee Blog
Keep updated to what Give It Some Beans Team have been up to this month
Here I am sat on 14th January going through my diary trying to remember what we did in November !! Apologies for those of you who follow our blog that I am late writing this - No excuses really apart from being busy beans !
It was sooo busy in Give It Some Beans world.... Our Christmas countdown had started with Coffee Gift Box orders.
As well as doing our normal roasting we also got passed by EHO & Trading Standards to be able to produce our own coffee syrups. After much practicing to get the recipes right, we now make Vanilla,Cinnamon & Gingerbread syrups to add to your coffee...
Our events started by attending Wymondham College Xmas Fayre on Saturday 10th November, which was fabulous with lots of local food & drink producers in attendance and the most amazing hand crafts. We had a great day and met some lovely people and looking forward to attending in 2019.
On 17th November we attending the 1st Christmas Fayre at Caistor Hall Hotel, Norwich which was orgainsied by the lovely
Sophie... There were lots of food, craft, drink stalls and some fabulous things for the kids.. We even got to see Father Christmas himself !!
Black Friday week we worked with Hughes at Mason Road and Hall Road in Norwich doing Coffee Demo's and offering free coffee to all their customers.
We also celebrated our 1st Birthday on 23rd November !!
Wow where has a year gone? After deciding to set the company up and spending 4 month setting everything up in the background, building our website, researching packaging, speaking to shops to stock our coffee as well as experimenting with roasting different coffees. Our son's Matt and Jake were on hand to help out and drink lots and lots of coffee !! Which they loved as they are both students at UEA and coffee is part of their staple diet !!
We also reached another milestone by having 500 followers on our Instagram page
On Saturday 24th we attended Ormiston Victory Academy Christmas Fayre which was a fantastic Christmas Fayre for us, so much so I had to send Mr B home to get more gift boxes as we had sold out within the 1st hour !!
We also decided to do a Coffee Advent Calendar which sold out within 7 days... These were put together and sent out ready for December 1st.... We had some amazing feedback about them, but not sure whether we will do them in 2019 as they were very time consuming !!
November ended by attening Taverhall Hall School Christmas Fayre which was held in the beautiful setting of the school.
There were local food and drink producers, Craft Makers etc.... Hopefully we will attend all again in 2019.
